About
A trilingual companion-planting guide and garden planner: browse which vegetables, flowers and herbs grow well together, lay out your bed, and get live warnings for bad neighbours. Everything runs in your browser: your garden is saved only on this device and nothing is sent anywhere.
🌱 Method & sources
The companion tables combine several university extension services and established garden references — not a single chart — and cross-check any conflicts:
- University of Minnesota Extension ↗
- West Virginia University Extension ↗
- University of Florida / IFAS Extension ↗
- Farmers' Almanac ↗
- West Coast Seeds ↗
Companion planting mixes tradition and research. Extension services stress that many “repels X” folklore claims do not hold up, so we dropped them. A pairing stays only when it has a documented mechanism: flowers that feed beneficial insects or pollinators, trap crops, roots and heights that fit together, soil enriched by legumes, or pests and diseases that two plants share. Details are in the Guide.
